About the brand
Alighieri was founded in 2014 by Rosh Mahtani in London’s Hatton Garden, with the purpose of forging human connection through objects. Each fragmented talisman is inspired by the Italian poet - Dante Alighieri, and his story of being lost in a dark wood. Alighieri’s Modern Heirlooms celebrate the beauty of human imperfection and vulnerability, hand-carved in wax and then cast in recycled gold, silver or bronze finished with 24kt gold-plating, locally in the UK.
