Avenue d’Antin is an armchair originally designed by French couturier Paul Poiret, a pioneering figure who extended his creative vision beyond fashion into the decorative arts.
The design draws inspiration from the geometric pattern of garden trellises, a recurring motif in the theatrical settings and celebrations imagined by Poiret for Parisian society during the Belle Époque.
Re-edited by Fassen, the armchair combines a solid beech structure with traditional upholstery, translating Poiret’s decorative language into a sculptural and functional piece of furniture.
