Viscontea Pendant Light
Viscontea is a sculptural pendant light designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1960 for Flos.
It’s distinctive cocoon-like diffuser is created by spraying a resin over an internal steel structure, forming a soft, translucent surface that gently filters the light.
An iconic example of post-war Italian design, Viscontea combines material experimentation with an organic, almost weightless silhouette.
