Artistic object designed for interior decoration, produced by manual casting, refined and enameled with the the traditional slip-casting technique. Each piece is homemade in Italy, stamped and signed in a sequential manner. The presence of small imperfections witnesses the authenticity provided by the artisanal process.
With Carrousel, Ronan Bouroullec designs a new collection for Mutina Editions composed of ten ceramic vases and four mirrors, developed around the timeless and essential contrast of black and white.
About the brand
Mutina derives from the natural need to urge top designers to bring their ideas, for the first time, to the world of ceramic covering materials. It was thanks to this intuition that in 2005, the brand set off down a brand-new road, with the aim of challenging the rules of ceramics in terms not only of scale, texture and composition, but of creativity and experimentation.
