Petite Friture
Sandows N°114 daybed
Designed by René Herbst, the Sandows N°114 daybed combines a chrome-plated tubular steel frame with tensioned rubber and polyester cords forming the seat and backrest. The black-lacquered, oak-veneered birch plywood armrests provide a tactile contrast to the polished metal structure. The cords follow the contours of the frame, creating a flexible and supportive surface, while the reclining backrest can be adjusted to nine positions for added comfort.
