S 22
Designed by Pierre Chapo in 1967, the S22 sofa is the natural evolution of the iconic S15 lounge chair. Expanding on the same construction principles, it offers a generous two-seat format while maintaining the purity and balance of Chapo’s design language.
Like the S15 and S32, the S22 is built around a rectangular solid wood frame, with the seating system fully integrated into the distinctive 48 × 72 mm structure. It features two individual seat cushions and a flexible wooden backrest, replacing the leather version found on the S15 and S18. Spacious, understated and expertly crafted, the S22 reflects Pierre Chapo’s commitment to functional, timeless design.
