BULBS LIGHTING
The Bulbs series imagines lighting as a living organism, exploring the relationship between nature, craftsmanship and technology in a post-industrial landscape. Blurring the boundaries between object and life form, each piece questions our contemporary relationship with production and ornament.
Developed during a dual residency at CIRVA and the Manufacture de Sèvres, the collection combines exceptional ceramic craftsmanship with a speculative design approach. Originally presented at Design Parade 20 at Villa Noailles, Bulbs reflects Simon Dupety’s ongoing research into new material imaginaries and future ecosystems.

About the brand
Simon+ is a Paris-based object design studio founded by designer Simon Dupety. His practice explores the dialogue between craftsmanship and contemporary production, developing lighting and furniture that bridge traditional savoir-faire with new ways of making. Working across collectible design, commissions and industrial collaborations, Simon oversees every stage of the creative process, from the initial concept to production. Each project reflects a thoughtful exploration of materials, techniques and the stories embedded within objects. Following Simon Dupety's Grand Prix Design Parade Toulon 2025 at Villa Noailles, MATTER and SHAPE was proud to present his work during the 2026 edition of the fair, celebrating a new generation of designers whose practice combines technical excellence with a singular creative vision.
