Daniel Heer is a fourth-generation Swiss artisan specializing in the manufacture of horsehair maFresses made completely by hand. The HEER saddler business was established in 1907, currently operating its workshop and guestroom in Berlin. For Heer, tradition represents more than the time-tested. It responds to contemporary needs by developing new methods and materials — or even showcasing the mattress naked, unconcealed by linens.
