VESSELS FOR LIGHT FL-03
Vessels for Light FL-03 is a sculptural paper lamp by Christian+Jade, developed as a bespoke piece for MATTER and SHAPE in collaboration with Ark Kollekt.
Part of the ongoing Vessels for Light collection, the piece explores the tension between heavy, brutalist forms and the delicacy of paper. Its volume is stitched from mulberry bark paper, suspended from a browned brass structure and brushed with wax to reveal subtle layers of translucency. Both object and source of light, FL-03 transforms its material through illumination, creating a soft, atmospheric presence that shifts between solidity and fragility.
