SEAGRAPE TABLE
DiscoverInspired by the elegant leaves of its namesake tree, the seagrape table combines the majesty of nature and the finest in French craftsmanship. The grand, elegant, and sculptural table invites us to revel in the sublimity of the natural world, where form and function live in perfect harmony. Crafted from danish white ash trees transformed by a decade of natural dying, the table is infused it with resilience and character. The artisanal process, employing time-honored handicraft techniques such as gouge work, imbues every curve and contour with a sense of organic fluidity, echoing the graceful fan-shaped leaves of the serape tree.
The serape table is in a limited edition of eight and is exclusive to STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN.
About the brand
RDAI is an architecture, interior architecture and design agency based in Paris, with a subsidiary in Hong Kong. Founded in 1972 by Rena Dumas, the agency is now led by Denis Montel and Julia Capp. DAI works on all scales, from entire buildings to interior environments and individual objects, treating a diverse selection of programs including retail, hotel, residential, workplace, cultural, events and furniture design. By embracing context as well as customs and traditions, the studio delivers cross-disciplinary projects that are coherent and contemporary. For MATTER and SHAPE (2025), Julia Capp and Denis Montel present a selection of limited-edition pieces by RDAI, and a re-edition of the ARIA console designed by Rena Dumas. RDAI believes that design should be considered on the basis of the context, culture and time into which a project is to be born. The unique character of each of their creations is the result of pure lines, meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship. Materiality and sensitivity are at the heart of their artistic approach, both in their relationship with materials and with artisans.
